It was good to meet you both. I'm one of the newer members of RRMC (just over a year with the club). I have an alternative solution, see if Penny wants to ride her own. :)

I got tired of "speed up, slow down" and our helmets continually knocking into each other as did Tina, my wife. She's been riding now for just over 2 years and while she isn't a RRMC member yet she has joined me for a few of the events. She doesn't enjoy larger group rides, unfortunately.

Also, I'm likely one of the least involved members. My schedule and other hobbies often prevent me from joining in on many of the rides and events or, as was the case the last Saturday, I had to duck out early for other obligations.

Unfortunately, I've already let Monica & Rick know I won't be able to join them for the ride Saturday even though I had planned on it. A friend of ours is in need so I'm opting to spend time with him & his family instead.

Regardless, I'm sure the rest of the member would enjoy having you along for more rides and events.
