Wow, What a Ride we had! It seems like I’m hearing that more lately and I’m looking forward to many more rides like it this summer.
The spring trip to Suches Georgia has 19 riders signed up, so far, and we have room for three more. If anyone is interested they need to let me know soon. This year the resort will not be providing any meals so we will be taking care of all of our own meals. The Ride on Friday will start in Gurley, at the Hardees, kickstands up at 9:00AM. I will be sending out an e-mail to everybody that is signed up for the trip to let them know some of the details that have been worked out so far.
We have made plans to go to Miss Mary Bobo’s in Lynchburg on June 14th for the Saturday ride. If you wish to join us for lunch you need to sign up and pay for it by this Thursdays meeting. If you do not want to join us at Miss Mary Bobo’s, Lynchburg has a few more nice lunch choices if you don’t make in time for Miss Bobo’s.
At our meeting this Thursday we will be talking about these events and more. Also with the month of May being National “Motorcycle Safety Month” I have asked Jesse Nelson to give our Safety report in Greg Bass’ absence. Susan will be having another surgery to repair her deviated septum this Thursday and Greg will not be able to make the meeting.
We will be talking about the updates to the application for membership that was tabled at the last meeting. There are some questions as to what should be included on the application for membership to the Redstone Riders Motorcycle Club and how we should handle the vote for new membership. If you have any concerns about this you should attend this meeting and be ready to discuss the process.
