Typical Saturday morning ride. So many of the “regular” old Redstone Riders didn’t make the ride. But, we did have 18 bikes and 21 riders leave Mullins this morning on what I would consider the best club ride in months. (I have a list of all the folks that rode)

James Langley was the Road Captain and took us to Jean’s on the River just outside of Sipsey. Their specialty is plate lunches, a meat and three vegetables for about $6 plus your drink. The main attraction today was the RIDE. Not a craft show, car show, poker run or even a flower or bread festival. Just a ride, exactly the way we once did it.

170 miles from breakfast to lunch. We arrived at 2 and everyone was hungry. 15 bikes and 18 riders made it to lunch. 130 miles after lunch we were back in Huntsville at about 5:30. 10 bikes and 11 riders completed the entire route.

Monica took pictures that I hope she will share with us. Everyone at the last stop commented about how great the ride was.

Way to go James for planning and leading a good old fashion RRMC ride.
